The German Society of Pennsylvania

611 Spring Garden Street

Philadelphia, PA 19123

Most of our weekend events will be happening in this large, beautiful building!

Accessibility: There is an elevator, which provides access to all the spaces we will be using!

Parking: The Society has a fenced-in parking lot that holds roughly 25-30 cars. Outside of business hours, there is usually plenty of street parking along Spring Garden and the surrounding streets. Some of the street parking has a two hour limit or is metered, and those restrictions are enforced by the Philadelphia Parking Authority. There are also a limited number of parking lots in the neighborhood with weekend hours. Certain parking lots in the area will allow you to reserve spaces ahead of time as well.

Transit Advice: You can walk to the venue from the Broad Street Line or the Market Frankford Line, or take the 43 bus along Spring Garden St. Rideshare apps also tend to be inexpensive within the city.

Food: Nearby food options can be explored here.

St. Paul's Community Center

1018 Wallace St
Philadelphia, PA 19123

On February 7, 1963, the Community House opened its doors and the work of giving direction, educational and recreational aid to the needy people of the West Poplar area was officially begun. We will be using this venue's gymnasium for classes. A short, 10 minute walk from the German Society.

Accessibility: There is a ramp or a few steps into the building and our dance spaces are on the first floor.

Parking: Similar to the parking situation at the German Society, street parking is available.

Transit Advice: Located a little north of Spring Garden you can walk from the Broad Street Line, take the 45 bus going North or South, or take the 43 bus along Spring Garden St.
