COVID-19 Safety Policy

There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public space where people are present. By registering for our event and attending Blues Muse, you agree that entry is at your own risk and you voluntarily and expressly assume all risks associated with entry. You must assess your own risk tolerance and if you decide to register, you will not hold Blues Muse or any of its staff liable for contracting any illness.

This policy is subject to change as the pandemic continues to evolve. Please check back periodically before attending to make sure you have the latest information.

  • Blues Muse will require recent (within 48hrs) proof of a negative rapid-test and strongly encourages individuals to show caution when coming to the event.

  • Full refunds (minus processing fees) will be available for pre-registered attendees who are unable to attend the event due to COVID infection, and prorated refunds will be available for attendees who become ill during the event.

The Blues Muse COVID policy is part of code of conduct, you agree to comply by attending

Additional Ways to Prevent COVID-19

  • Masks are recommended while indoors but not required. Masks work best when they securely cover the nose and mouth and form a seal around the face.

  • If you are traveling to Blues Muse, we strongly recommend that you take a rapid antigen test before leaving home. If you test positive for COVID-19, please do not attend the event.

  • If you are traveling on an airplane or public transportation to get to Blues Muse we  encourage you to wear a mask while you travel in order to reduce the risk of infection.

  • We strongly recommend taking extra precautions in the two weeks leading up to the event, wearing masks while indoors and around others, and limiting your possible exposure. This includes working from home if possible and opting to not eat indoors at restaurants.

  • We also strongly recommend you take extra precautions following the event to prevent spreading any potential illnesses back to your home communities.

  • Please wash your hands with soap and water upon arriving at our classes and dances, and please wash your hands after using the restroom, sneezing, or coughing. Please avoid using personal hand sanitizers as we have community members with extreme chemical allergies and this could ruin their weekend. Please see the front desk for safe hand sanitizer.
